Scott Whitfield’s unique musical style stems from his extensive background in playing and studying jazz, blues, country and rock music.  Scott’s blend of these influences along with his illuminating stage presence is what gives his performances such a distinctive style.

Whitfield has the ability to take his audience on a musical journey that transcends time.  His guitar and vocal work brings to life the rock and country of the 60’s, 70’s and 80’s.  Scott’s hard swinging banjo style brings jazz standards of the swing era back to life.  His rendition of New Orleans style favorites is as good as it gets.  Scott’s use of the tenor and plectrum banjo to deliver great pop, rock, country and folk standards open new horizons of the listening experience.

Scott Whitfield entertains audiences as a featured soloist in concerts and corporate events across the United States with more than 400 appearances annually.  His seven albums are sold internationally and he has performance credits on six other albums as well as performances on radio and television.
