This is a rare collectable instrument, that is still a vg player.
Clean bright tone, setup on Thomastik flatwound mandolin strings


Original Stromberg neck hardware, with metal tag, bearing the company logo
Original anchor screws, washers, and shoes
3 tension hooks are replaced, with orig Stromberg hooksets


Lower rim has trim ring intact


There is an "F" stamped into the rim inside, and tone ring skirt


Hardware has been buffed polished and waxed, not refinished


Tuning machines all work smoothly


Action is medium, neck is straight


Thomastik strings are very smooth (and expensive!)
Grooved tension hoop


Engraved TP cover


Skin head is taut, with plenty of adjustment left in it


Peghead inlay is not original.
Added by previous owner, I suspect.
I do have an original diamond inlay, if someone wants it changed.


Grover non tip is VG, looks like NOS.
