Tyler Jackson's
Visit to new shop locale!

Playing on the Prewar Gibson TB-4 flathead
We are comparing them, to the Vox's we so love to play.

Very clear noting, but lacking in the full power, a a tenor, compared to VegaVox

Playing a few tunes, as best I can, with the Maestro, and the
2 skin head Vox's are nice in unison, as mine and his, are playing very well these days.

They do cover my singing up very well, which is a plus!

On the Stromberg banjolin

And John Huntsberger's Vox 2 plectrum

Trying out Noel Induni's Epi Deluxe, that is in for restoration

And Mike's Martin Vega Vox 4 also in for restoration

He claims that mine, is now an equal to his, as a performer on skin, which pleased me.
It did sound off very well, in his capable hands.

Sherri popped of a few pics of us jamming, in the wee hours
We didn't have much time, so we used it well!

Plenty of Vox's, to please the palate

As always, it was a pleasure to have Tyler come over, and talk banjo.
We have lots to discuss, each and every time, about the subtle and not so subtle diff's, in all the banjos that come thru here, and if I want to know what one sounds like, played to the top of its potential, these times are always best, when TJ shows up, because he can push them to the edge of the rhythmic limit!
