Thats my buddy Barry Grant, in the front, with his Stromberg Marimba
All of these good folks are my friends, but my best friend of the whole bunch is Barry Grant, front and center, with the Stromberg Marimba
Also from left to right:
Maxine Pomeroy, Joyce Pinckney, Bob Pinckney, Barb Reed,(Barry) Dan Pomeroy, and Bill Reed
I only wish we had more time to spend swapping lies, but Barry is a busy Emergency EVAC pilot, and is "Aloft" saving folks most of the time, so we rely on email.
Maybe when we are geezers (not long) we will get to swap lies then.

Barry (Center) dressed to kill (Himself) at the Mardi Gras

 In his fancy "Dago" suit
The only thing he looks comfortable in :0
Sporting some birthday mirth from his ol friend vinnie!
I am glad he wore this birthday suit instead of his regular one! YIKES!

Barry on his latest gig.
Excerpts from the email :
This is a pic that AM took last Friday night at gig's end. The clarinet player was already at the bar by the time she snapped the pic.......I wasn't far behind <:)

Liquid courage, can be used, in some instances, and this reporter believes that this is one of those times.

My very good friend in Florida,
Cap'n Michael Moe, with his charming wife Mary Beth
(And Zippy and Mojo).
Banjo player extrordinaire
Luxury Yacht captain
All around great guy
Another cyberfriend that I wish was my next door neighbor

And here is my good friend, Don Wiseman, with his Piano accompaniment, Karen, at the "Musicale"
Don is looking quite "Dapper" I must say, and he is playing the "MasterVox", which I created in some crazed state of mind.
Half Gibson, Half VegaVox....thats scary!

My friend Ryan, on the banjo uke.
Ryan is a local player here in Austin, and is one of the "cooler" guys, in our gang.

Here is my good friend in S.C., Mr Brantly Cox
Playing for a "Higher authority"
Brantly is one of the main reasons I chose to do this work, and this webpage, and will always be a special part of my life.
Thanks for stickin by me.

There is Torbjorn Nager, from Sweden, in the blue shirt.
Another fine gent

And of course, my good friend Tyler Jackson, who can play a banjo good enough to be sitting next to the best of the best, who is Mr.Bud Wachter.
Those two can really get things going and both of them really love to play.

 All Strombergs, all mine!

(well , at least for the time being!)

Some of my instruments, and others as well!
