The way I see the Washburn numbering system (Opinion)
Model #530 denotes this catalog style.
Batch # 13 - it is the 13th that came off of the line of this model.
Serial # 8429 = the total number of all Washburn instruments made up until this point.
10-3/4 Single spun rim , flathead configuration
Replace calfskin head
Replace frets as needed
 Cleanup-Setup on light gauge metal strings.
Well played, well cared for
Minimal fingerboard wear.
Strung on metal strings.

I had only one, VG cond.
Back to a positive fit.
Setup on light gauge strings, looking at bridges.
Modern tailpiece and bridge.
Correct heel contact.
Head bearing on metal stanchions.
Hardware cleaned/waxed
Replacing the 1st 3 fret wires.
Neck cleaned and waxed.
I chose a period Grover.
All other hardware is original.
Missing it's wooden wedges.
