This will be in the style of other round guitars from the past.
Round tenor guitars were made in a transitionary period from banjo to guitar.
There are versions online and I have files that show pics of them.
They appear all of the way up until the late 1960's

My plan (Which changes as I go along) is to have no penetrations of the top, and have a "below the soundboard" pickup and knobs (if any) on the side of the rim with the input jack.
In other words, like the head of a banjo.
The back will be fixed, but the top and its trim ring ill be one piece/removable.
That gives it an ability to just slip off, just as it did when it was the banjo's bearing edge.

The basic framework.
Nice pegs, they will stay.
I will upgrade it to have a logo.
Next it will get clear coated.
Flat sanding shows low area.
Added a little tint to the green.
Adding filler wood where flange used to be.
I left a lip so t hat the back can recess into it.
Finish is near complete/

Back to fretting.

I made an Epi style lag plate.
Stripped.
Ready to glue on.
I will fret with wide wire-2.9mm.
This is where the player played the most.
Adding Epi-sized side markers.
Now the other side.
Cutting the birch ply top.
Perfect fit., It will be fixed to the trim ring.
All of the insides will be black.
All dressed, fingerboard oiled.
White top, Dark brown sides, Burst back.
