Stripping finish

After cooling, spring back to flat. Where I want to be.

Angle re-set to accomodate 5/8" bridge.

Starting frets at the heel, gluing as I go.

Not original finish.

Removing non-original frets.

Nut has been shimmed, will replace.

Slight side-curve in neck, both sides. Treble side more pronounced.

Finish stripped on peghead.

Cleaned tenon.

Sanded

A dab of oil on my fingertip is all that is needed to re-vitalize the wood.

Pulling some with my fingernail, slot rot.

Some wear in fingerboard 1-3

After heating into a backbow.

Heat/pull dowel.

Cleaned tenon hole.

Sealed, ready for fret work.

Frets in , ready for dressing.
