Repair neck (forward pull)
Install frets
Detail fingerboard markers
Address any playability issues

Address any finish issues
Clean and wax all hardware


Celluloid in good condition.
This is Silver, not nickel plating.
Removing tarnish with micro-polish.
Ready to re-assemble rim assembly.
Hooksets that were replaced with originals.
There are several areas, this is the most prevalent.
Old finish removed from sidewall showing color difference.
Neck has added truss.
Board cleaned and ready
Individual glue/clamp/cure, up the neck.
Ready for new gold.
Protected with clear Mohawk.
Trying bridges, this neck likes no more than 1/2"
Minor separation on sidewall to back, 8"
Mild persuasion.
Adding spacers that were missing from armrest.
It is glue/clamp move, until completed.
Moving on to the back.
Frets have factory wood shimming. Odd.
Sealer is medium CA
Everything now has integrity.
After cure I will remove excess.
Finish completed.
Settling in after final tweaks.
Fret wear, marker wear shown.
Tarnish removed on split ring.
Mineral oil moisture barrier applied.
Mohawk etching lacquer, satin, to protect large hardware.
Ready to seal celluloid's
I am pointing to where CA glue is added in all of the marquetry.
First fresh lacquer coat.
Prepping for frets.
Clamped over heel
Cleaning dirt and old gold fill from lines.
Adding the black.
Ready to set up.
